News-trilogy on the state of affairs – part 2 – the wrap up

To make sure that I do my trilogy in the third month…..pressing on…

I was facing two real challenges at the beginning of 2012, when the Statens Museum for Kunst (National Gallery of Denmark)museum shop agreed to exhibit my jewellery in their glass display case in the foyer of the museum.

One of the challenges was putting together a display fit for the surroundings, and the other was to finally (after many ideas, and trials) settle on a solution for the packaging that complimented my upcycled jewellery.

News-trilogy on the state of affairs – part 1

It’s the third month of the new year.  Already!.

As I am in awe and wonderment of how fast time has flown since I was watching fireworks, I am as pleased to share our news – in three parts.  This is part one.

I am pleased to be the Jamaican/American designer exhibiting my collection, Clairely upcycled jewellery,  at The National Gallery of Denmark’s museum shop from 15 March until 31 april 2012.  I love the international sound of it.  The way three countries are wrapped together.

In collaboration with the museum book and gift shop, Clairely upcycled jewellery will be displayed and select pieces available for purchase.

The display case is on the right as you enter the National Gallery of Denmark.

Clairely upcycled jewellery and ACCENT products are sold  at Normann Copenhagen, Copenhagen; Illumsbolighus, Copenhagen; Akimbo, Copenhagen,  ABC Home , NY; Chateau de Versailles museum store, Paris….  19 countries worldwide.
